Parenting Program

The Incredible Years program is a tried and true method of helping children become more successful at school and increasing family harmony.

Goals of the Program

1. To decrease children's negative behaviours and noncompliance with parents at home.

2. To decrease peer aggression and disruptive behaviours in the classroom.

3. To promote social, emotional and academic competence in children.

4. To increase parents' positive communications skills, limit setting, anger management, and problem-solving skills.

5. To increase family support networks and school involvement.

Although parents often arrive at Group discouraged and overwhelmed, they most often graduate feeling refreshed and empowered.  They are happy with their new tools.  They are not alone, in their challenging feelings, or, in their renew confidence.
